Vs: Petteri Koposen tie kohti NBA:ta
Jonkinlaista toisen käden tietoa eilisestä workout-tilaisuudesta Phoenixissa:
If the Suns keep at least one of their first-round picks, Oregon point guard Aaron Brooks became more appealing Tuesday. Brooks' quickness and ability to score in various ways were too much for 20-year-old Finnish point guard Petteri Koponen. Both were on their second visit to Phoenix. So was Wisconsin small forward Alando Tucker, who did not play due to a quad injury.
"It takes a little bit of time to adjust your game to this because in Europe it is mostly five on five," Koponen said.
Brooks was on his eighth workout in eight days but is earning believers in his explosiveness as an Eddie House-type of player but with more ability to penetrate. Brooks, only 6 feet at best, also has worked out twice for Sacramento, which picks 10th, and San Antonio, picking 28th and 33rd.
"To be honest with you, I think they (the Suns staff) got what they wanted, so they shut it (the workout) down pretty quick," Brooks said.
