In a year and a half since you are hear you made some very good friendships with first Yotam Halperin, then Marko Milič who you know from before, Ender Arslan. All of them already left the club. How is it to follow their arrivals and departures while you are still playing for the same club?
These players are one in Maccabi, one in Real Madrid and one in Tau Vitoria and I have to stress that I am still in Union Olimpija. This is a great club but teams mentioned above are still among top eight teams in Europe. I would like to be in a situation like this too, I had chances to go and I am still here. I have nothing bad to say against anybody here, I truly respect my contract but sometimes when you think you had a chance to play in a big club and some players could left while others couldn’t … It is hard to explain. Again: I am not saying I am sad here, I really like Ljubljana but it was always my dream to play for example in Maccabi which offered me a contract. It is true that money too would be better there but it is more important that I would fulfill my dream with moving there.
Do you think you will await the end of the season here in Ljubljana or do you still have good options to leave before?
In case of a good offer and an agreement between two clubs I would leave. It is a question of my career. But I am in no rush. I’ve heard there are some clubs interested in me but we will see what is going to happen. The key is also the new Union Olimpija management and its decisions.
